11/15 Brown Bag Lunch Seminar- presented by BJ Parrish- How to become an Executive Assistant

11/17- Fall Education Seminar & Vendor Expo- All day.. at Finnegan & Henderson-- FANTASTIC speaker- Stefan Sanders, Sanders Communications.

----------------------------------------
Friday is the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) exam. Exhausted I am... Overscheduled, I am. Nonetheless, I'm sitting down at 1pm on Friday.... and giving it a go. Several other members of the chapter are sitting for this and/or the CPS on Saturday.

Many many many many thanks... to Kim Hamilton CPS/CAP- Study Group Leader and of course, Cynthia Williams CPS/CAP - Chair, Division Certification Committee. These two chapter members are top-notch in motivating and leading...

Which brings me to our topic.. Amazing efforts and Respecting Peers...

Think about a peer you admire. is it the way they handle stress? A nasty supervisor that they are able to work around? Or do their skills at organizing huge events or large projects leave you in the dust? Email them, call them but for goodness sake.. don't ignore them. Learn from them.

I have so much respect for the members of our chapter I have come to know... and of course, I'm partial to our chapter leader... because I know the workload and personal load that everyone carries.. and she does so without a gripe...

Lastly, As I promised I'd be in bed early tonight.. I wanted to commend all of you.. for taking the time, making the time.. to be involved and a part of our chapter. At our New Member Orientation.. the enthusiasm was wonderful. It was great to be a part of a group that is invested in improvement....

I'll be able to write more after the CAP Exam... I'm headed off to snooze.. Good night, Gang.
